Your First Visit
On booking your first consultation with Urocology, we will email you a welcome pack which will include your appointment details, cost of your appointment, instructions on how to get to your appointment location, a new patient details form, and some additional information about our practice.
What to Bring
- GP referral and results of relevant imaging or pathology tests if they have not been sent to our administration team already.
- Support person – it is often a good idea to bring a relative or close friend to your appointment as another set of ears is helpful to take in all the information.
- List of questions – patients and their family frequently have a long list of questions that they wish to ask, which are immediately forgotten during the consultation, but remembered the second they are out of the consult room! Therefore, it is useful to have any questions written down and brought with you into the consultation. There are no “silly” questions – we want our patients to feel they have been heard and had all their questions answered.
